Families, use this to prompt conversations at the table, in the car, and anywhere else your family experiences life together.

• If your family had a theme song, what would it be? Why that song?
• How many relatives can you list? (Don’t know many relatives? List friends who are like family to you!)
• What helps us stay close as a family?
• What might help our family stay close to other members of God’s family?

More Fun with Family

It’s time to work together! As a family, brainstorm tasks around the home each of you usually does alone, such as making your bed, folding laundry, or picking up toys. Then choose a couple tasks that need to be done and do them together. Turn drudgery into fun by playing music, singing, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company!

Say: The Bible says the Holy Spirit makes us one family—God’s family! And just like when we work together as a family, getting things done and having fun, when we work with other members of God’s family, amazing things happen. We can worship God together, serve together, and follow God together!
