Welcome to JAM time! This is where you can guide your kids through a fun and engaging "Jesus and Me" time. Attached are a coloring sheet from this week's lesson and a fun activity you can do at home. We hope this time is fruitful for you and your family as you disciple your child to know Jesus more and more!

FAMILY CONVERSATIONS

Families, use this to prompt conversations at the table, in the car, and anywhere else your family experiences life together.

• What is your favorite type of plant? What makes that plant so interesting?
• Where is a place we can connect with God as a family?
• How can our family create a special time to connect with God, such as praying before meals or bedtime?

*During prayer time, the kids have been praying for someone that God’s highlighted to them, consider praying with them for that person and even reminding them that they can invite them to church with them!

WALK IT ACT IT MOVE IT: Obstacle Course Connection

Jesus invites us to stay connected to Him! Do this simple activity as a family to reinforce the importance of remaining connected to Jesus, our source of life! Set up a simple obstacle course throughout your home. You might scatter chairs, pillows, large toys, and other objects down the hallway and in and out of rooms. (For safety, avoid stairs.) Link arms so your whole family is connected, and designate one person at the end to represent Jesus. Everyone will close their eyes except for the person representing Jesus. With everyone’s arms linked, “Jesus” will guide the family through the obstacle course. Your goal is to get to the other end without anyone bumping into any obstacles. Try it multiple times with a different person representing Jesus each time.

Say: Wow! If we hadn’t been connected to “Jesus,” we never would have made it through the obstacle course! What do you think it means to stay connected to Jesus in our lives? What are some ways we can stay connected to Him?
