Vision

Being made in the image of a relational God, God has hard wired us to live in relationship. God's desire is for the Great Commission (Matthew 28), Christlikeness, and Christian maturity to be worked out in the context of relationships. While this happens in a number of settings, the life-on-life discipleship circle (2-6 gathered) offers a unique opportunity for us to go deeper in relationship, encouragement, and accountability in intentional, same gender relationships. We see this reflected in the New Testament both in Jesus' discipleship strategy as well as relationships such as Paul and Timothy.

Life-on-Life Discipleship Definition

Life-on-life discipleship relationships are intentional relationships (1x1 or small groups) that are focused on growing as lifelong, obedient followers of Jesus who in turn help others to do the same.

What is Our Church Goal for Life-on-Life Discipleship?

  1. For every Lifegroup to have a gender specific life-on-life discipleship component

  2. For at least 50% of our church to be trained and deployed disciple makers who are actively pursuing spiritually hungry people to disciple.
